Each Mother’s Day, Lumara offers space for quiet reflection, connection, and remembrance. We invite you to join us for our fifth annual Cross-Canada Virtual Candlelighting Service: an evening to honour the enduring bond between mothers and their babies lost in pregnancy or infancy.

This simple and heartfelt gathering will be held online, open to anyone across Canada who would like to light a candle in memory.

An Online Pregnancy and Infant Loss Therapy Group

We will be hosting an information session on Tuesday, June 24 4:30 pm PT/7:30 pm ET/8:30 pm AT, about our upcoming Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group–Writing your Grief.

This six-week online therapy group is for parents–whether you have experienced a very early or late pregnancy loss, or the loss of an infant, your grief matters. If this loss was very recent or decades ago, your grief matters. This group will take place weekly for 6 weeks beginning on June 30th, 4:30pm PT, 7:30pm ET, 8:30pm AT.  Co-facilitated  by an experienced therapist and a peer mentor, participants will have opportunities for connection, reflection, healing and honouring through guided writing exercises. No previous writing experience necessary.
