Online Adult Grief Support
We hear it over and over again. It’s lonely out there.
After the memorial service ends and the rest of the world has gone back to their “regular lives”, it’s hard to find a place to openly and honestly share your grief.

This 8-week online program provides opportunities for adults who are bereaved to connect, to share their experiences of loss in a supportive environment, to honour their loved ones, and to learn strategies that can assist them in coping as they grieve.
The structured portion of each session lasts for one hour. Afterwards, participants have the option of staying online for an additional half hour for informal conversation, community building, and gentle connection.
Group members are asked to commit to attending all eight sessions of the series, and to notify the group leader in advance if they are unable to attend. Registration is limited to twelve participants to ensure the group remains intimate and supportive. To take part, you will need a computer, tablet, or phone equipped with a microphone and camera, and the ability to access Zoom.
Groups are facilitated by experienced therapists, assisted by trained volunteers. Specific group guidelines and technical requirements will be sent to participants shortly before the start of the program.
