Rose Family Student Bursary

We know that financial pressure is just one of the many stressors that comes along with significant loss.
Created in loving memory of six-year-old Cora Fay Cheney, this initiative spreads kindness in honour of Cora and provides care packages intended to offer comfort, hope, and practical support to grieving families who have lost a young child.

Youth Leadership Program

Many adults struggle to know how to meaningfully connect with young people who are grieving. Yet over many years at Lumara, we’ve seen that youth themselves often have a remarkable capacity to meet one another with compassion, honesty, and understanding. Lumara’s Youth Leadership Program was inspired by them and created with them in mind.
