Are you looking for the opportunity to connect with other families who are coping with grief and loss? Are you looking for strategies to help you and your children to cope with your loss during the busy holiday season? Are you looking for a place where you can remember your loved one(s) in a community with others who understand?

This family retreat day, facilitated by Camp Kerry Counsellors with the assistance of trained volunteers, will include a potluck lunch, peer support groups for children, youth, and adults, a family expressive arts therapy session, and a short ceremony of remembrance.

*Snacks, drinks and dessert will be provided. Each family is encouraged to bring a dish for the potluck, but please ensure that your dishes are nut free and labelled if they contain wheat or dairy.

A contribution fee of $5 per person will be required upon time of registration. If for any reason the fee poses as a barrier to you and your family please don’t hesitate to contact our office prior to starting your application so that we can ensure your registration is processed without any issues.
