Soap Making Classes for a Cause

The Inspiration Soap CompanyKerry’s Boutique100 Braid Street Studios are teaming up to offer a very special day of Soap Making Classes for a Cause on June 3, 2017.

Proceeds from these classes will be used to help fund bereavement services for children, youth and families from all across the province of British Columbia through the Camp Kerry Society!

Children, Youth & Families…

When: June 3, 2017 3pm – 5pm

This class will offer children/youth and adults an opportunity to spend quality time together as they learn some cool soap making skills from a professional artist. Each participant with a ticket will leave the class with their very own creation.

This is an introductory melt and pour class and it is suited for children ages six and up. Children over the age of 12 are permitted to attend without their guardian.

Adults Only…

When: June 3, 2017 6pm – 8:30pm

Treat yourself and consider pampering a friend for an evening that’s sure to generate some fond memories. The evening will be set in the stunning architectural building at 100 Braid Street Studios where you and can expect to make magical soap creations by having some fun with melt and pour techniques while enjoying the company of some wonderful people. Snacks and beverages are included!

About the Artist…

Summer Reese, founder and creator of Inspiration Soap Co. grew up among the bright lights and desert landscape of Las Vegas, Nevada. She moved to New Westminster, BC in 2012 where she learned the craft of soap making. Her unique and fun designs quickly gained attention at various craft markets around the Great Vancouver region and are for sale in many local stores. Her soap designs have been featured in Vancouver’s weekly news and entertainment newspaper The Georgia Straight and on popular blogs such as Portobello West’s Talking Creativity.

Passion and creativity are what drives Summer’s love for soap making. She finds inspiration from all facets of life which are reflected in her work. When Summer is not making soap, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mark, her fur baby Wyatt, attending dance classes and seeking outdoor adventures.
