Support Music Therapy

Music Therapy is a form of Expressive Arts Therapy that involves the use music  by a trained and qualified professionals as a therapeutic tool to restore, maintain, and improve cognitive, physical, and emotional health. Often when words are difficult to articulate, our participants discover a means to communicate through music and that is why this modality is rooted in all of our programs.

We are proud to have a very large team of Music Therapists throughout the country who work with us to deliver high-quality programs to those living with a terminal illness and/or are afflicted with symptoms of grief and loss.

Some of the music below has been written and recorded by participants of our youth program. The songs, “Rains Mud”,, and “Mood Swings” were written with the guidance and support of Music Therapist, Meg Jackson. The song, “Nada Mas Miedo”, was created with the assistance of Music Therapist, Amy Brown. Both therapists have devoted hundreds of hours as volunteers to the Society.

For less than a dollar you can purchase a song and help support Music Therapy through our programs.
