We Are Better Together

On April 12 and 13, Move n’ Grooove Dance studio gave breathtaking performances entitled, “The Journey to Hope”, in support of Camp Kerry.  This dance showcase was nothing short of a triumph of talent, spirit, passion and compassion in support of young families who are coping with the loss of a spouse, parent, child or sibling.

In total, “The Journey of Hope” performances raised over $10,000. These funds will directly support bereaved families in attending Camp Kerry Ontario this fall. An incredible addition to the success of this fundraiser is that an anonymous donor from British Columbia has come forth and will be matching all funds raised…bringing the grand total to $20,134.50!

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the following sponsors for their support of this event:

Last but not least, a heart-felt thanks goes out to the outstanding committee for dedicating their time, energy, vision, and talents: Julie Fallis, Kate Alderson, Angela Gaskell, and Shelley Hermer.

We also wish to acknowledge the initiative and hard work of all those who participated with a special shout out to Move n’ Grooove Dance Studio owner and Camp Kerry Volunteer, Julie Fallis. In her words we are indeed, “better together”.
