Guided Imagery & Music
Facilitated by Meaghan Jackson
“Music is an allowing, permissive way of exploring all aspects of the self. Music transforms consciousness.” – Helen Bonny
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Take time for yourself to quiet your mind, calm your nervous system, and journey into your inner world. In this workshop, we will explore the practice of Guided Imagery & Music (GIM) and learn how it may be able to assist and bring you comfort on your grief journey. GIM is a music-centered therapy that involves the relaxation of the mind and body with the support of classical music. You are encouraged to bring writing and art supplies: paper, pastels, markers, pencils, and pens. To participate in this workshop, you will need headphones with a microphone as well as a computer, tablet, or phone equipped with a camera and able to access Zoom.
